My journey to Poland!
A few days ago I came home from Poland after a two week long visit. I was born in Poland, but moved to Sweden when I was five years old. I went there with my son and mother and we came back home with our new little puppy - the yorkshire terrier Shanti. She has plenty of energy and is all over the place most of the time, but it's cute to watch her play. Here are some images that I took while we were in Poland. Unfortunately the quality isn't that good.
This is the ship we went with. It takes about one day to get to Warszawa where my family lives. First one hour with the car to the ship. Then 19 hours on the ship. We then arrive at Gdansk and from there it's about 6-7 hours with the car to Warszawa.
All over Poland you will see buildings like this one. They stand in the middle of other fancy buildings and people still live there. The restoration of Poland is slowly moving forward, but it will still take a long time before the country is up and running. During the 2nd world war the country was a ruin. My grandmother was one of the many who was put in line to be shot in the head. She was only 8 years old then.
Restored buildings look often like this one. Poland seems to fancy the orange color.
This is also a regular sight - commercial everywhere.
My family's summer cottage. My grandparents build it in the 70's.
We visited the graveyard where most of our family members are buried. Here lies my grandfather and when my grandmother dies, she will be buried here too.
This is the house I grew up in before moving to Sweden. I used to play on this playground as a child with the other children from the neighbourhood, but all the things we used to play with are gone now.
This is our little new puppy that we brought with us when going home. Her name is Shanti. :)

The negative reviewers and their reviews.
I recently had a discussion with a few people on Goodreads about reviewing an author's book, and honestly it saddenes me to see how some people think. If not even reviewers can say one positive word about a book they didn't like, then no wonder the world looks the way it does.
I have been reading reviews for many years, and from time to time I write reviews as well. When I write them I make sure the reviews are honest, because honesty is important. But if you must write a negative review, make sure to write it in a positive way. No author deserves a 100% negative review just because there were a few spelling errors in the book, and no author deserves to have his or hers will broken down because someone on the Internet had a dislike.
We are all humans and we all do our best. Not many people are able to start writing a book and finishing it. Please realize that there are many hours of hard work behind every author's book and therefore every author deservers constructive critisism instead of negative reviews. And remember that behind every book there is a living person with feelings.
If you happen to stumble upon a poorly written book and decide to write a review about it, don't push the author down. Help the author instead! You have no idea who the person behind the book is, what their life looks like, what they feel or think. Maybe that author just wrote that book for fun, or maybe that author is fighting to make a change in his or hers life. Maybe writing is all they can do and and they are in the process of learning. Or maybe they write ... to save their lives ...
Every author out there is a brave person. He or she exposes themselves willingly to the masses to be either liked or hated, and often without the chance to defend themselves. That alone should be applaused.
Remember that you can hurt someone for life with one simple word. Therefore choose your words wisely. You never know how someone might react to the words you say.
Always be professional and mature in everything you do in your life. Look at the world with open eyes and a smile on your face. Spread light and love around you with that smile. Have you ever smiled toward a stranger on the street? I recommend you try it. Maybe that simple smile is everything that person needs to brighten their day.

The Monster Under the Bed is published!
Today came my book "The Monster Under the Bed" out! It's book 2 in the Enchanted Ever After Series. It's a series for those who enjoy reading short stories about love, passion and supernatural beings like angels, elves, vampires. You will find the book on all Amazon sites, and soon it will also be avaliable on Smashwords, B&N, Kobo and more.
London was never alone in her room as
a child. Someone was always hiding under her bed. She never saw who. She only
heard a man's voice, and he became her best friend.
Now, as an adult, she returns to her
childhood house to help her sick mother. She doesn't know what to expect when
she decides to live in her old room again, but one thing is for sure. The monster
under the bed is still there, and he hasn't forgotten her.
